Change the Body, Change the Mind
The Adult Attachment Repair Model (AARM) is an innovative therapy for addressing neural disregulation in the body. The AARM is based on seminal research and some of the latest discoveries in attachment theory, neuroscience and trauma studies. Drawing on principles from Attachment Theory, Ego State Integration, Bottom Up Processing and Dr. Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory, the AARM is an effective modality for facilitating the release of trauma and re-patterning with vital sensory scripts in the body.
The Master Plan for Healing
According to Dr. Marion Solomon of the UCLA Neuropsych Institute, Attachment is the master key from which all forms of psychopathology are accessed. When we are able to heal attachment disorder in the body, all other pathologies follow.
Peter has devoted the past seventeen of his forty years in practice to developing this profound healing modality and breakthrough contribution to mental health. As he nears retirement, Peter is currently scaling back his clinical practice to dedicate his time to training other practitioners in his healing modality.
The Experiential Learning Environment
The AARM Training is an experiential learning process, both cognitive and emotional. The practicums and demonstrations in this training embody the true healing process accessing trauma and unresolved grief in the body. It is recommended that one have a therapeutic support system in place while pursuing this training.
